Healthy foundations
Posture, breath, resonance, range, diction, and age-appropriate vocal habits come first.

Your first instrument is already with you
Voice lessons help students connect breath, ear, language, movement, and expression. Musical theatre is a special emphasis at OMS, alongside classical and contemporary styles.
Welcoming singers from age 5 through adulthood
A path with room to grow
Young singers learn how to use the voice healthfully while developing pitch awareness, rhythm, diction, confidence, and the ability to communicate a story. The work supports not only singing, but overall musicianship.
Teenagers and adults are equally welcome—whether preparing an audition, returning to singing, exploring musical theatre, or simply wanting to sing with greater freedom and understanding.
The musical journey
Posture, breath, resonance, range, diction, and age-appropriate vocal habits come first.
Students connect acting, text, character, movement, and music rather than treating a song as notes alone.
Pitch matching, phrasing, rhythm, harmony, and listening develop through repertoire and ear training.
Music and the developing brain
Instrumental and vocal study combine listening, movement, attention, memory, reading, timing, and emotional expression. Research on music training suggests that sustained practice can be associated with measurable changes in auditory, motor, and cognitive development. We present these findings carefully: music is valuable in itself, and every student develops differently.

Let us look beyond the online schedule
Not every possible opening appears online because the schedule is optimized around current teaching blocks. Tell us what your family needs, and we would love to look for a match personally.
Research findings describe associations and measured changes in particular studies; individual outcomes vary. OMS uses this research as context, not as a medical promise.
